Of all the health-related questions that I get, other than recommendations for cancer treatment, how to eliminate yeast or Candida overgrowth is the most frequent. Yeast overgrowth is an epidemic that is sucking the life and health out of millions of people, and many don’t even realize that yeast is the culprit!
Several years ago I compiled this protocol for addressing the yeast problem and it has proven very effective. But first let’s learn more about this villan.

Candida is actually a mold which inhabits the body, generally arising in the colon. However, the word “yeast infection” is generally used to refer to when the candida mold has grown out of control, (due to a compromised immune system, use of antibiotics, refined sugars, chlorinated water, and alcohol use), and begun to create harmful effects within the body. Thus to say, “I think I have a candida or yeast infection,” would mean that you have an overgrowth of the candida or yeast mold.

The Candida mold feeds off of the food that you eat, especially sugars and starches. This takes away from the nutrients you need to survive. The mold then begins to produce it’s own waste products. These wastes are toxic to the system and cause many of the sicknesses and diseases which plagues the population today.

SYMPTOMS:

Food Allergies
Chronic Fatigue
Digestive Problems
Weight gain
Skin Rashes
Low Sex Drive
Immune Disorders
Joint and Muscle Pain
Headaches
Menstrual Irregularities
Depression
ITIOLOGY: (How did I get it?)

Candida is in everyone's body. In small amounts, Candida is actually helpful to the system. This is because it acts as a natural antibiotic. It helps to control the growth of bacteria. It is also kept in check by these bacteria, forming a balance in the intestine. Through the use of antibiotics or swimming, bathing in or drinking chlorinated water, the essential microorganisms in the body are killed off. Molds are used in medicine as antibiotics, to kill off bacteria. These are the same bacteria which help to keep candida in check; when they are killed, the balance is destroyed and Candida thrives!

TREATMENT:

A vaginal manifestation of yeast or candida, for instance, is a symptom of a much greater, systemic, yeast overgrowth. A yeast overgrowth is very persistent and takes even greater persistence on your part for several months to eliminate it. The most important first steps is to create a healthy intestine. Additionally, one of the goals is to alkalinize the pH of the body to inhibit the yeast's growth. This is done by cleaning out the intestinal track and replacing the good bacteria.

Do not take antibiotics except in an extreme emergency.
Don’t ever drink chlorinated water.
Consume no dairy products.
Avoid all sugars, even to include carrots, beets, all fruit and fruit juice, except lemons, limes, grapefruit, cranberries, and grannysmith apples.

Avoid all refined grains and flour and pasta. Use sprouted whole grains, such as sprouted wheat or barley bread, etc. Use spinach pastas, or other vegetable pastas. (Actually all grains, even whole grains are too easily converted into sugar once they enter the body, so use even whole grains very moderately).

Do not consume coffee.
Start out by doing a complete and thorough 10-day cleanse and detox program Thereafter, do a 5-day colon cleanse every month, utilizing Colon Cleanse formula #1 and Colon Cleanse #2 for 6 months.

During the colon cleanse drink 8 oz. fresh green vegetable juice 4-6 times daily (all the green leafy veggies, plus brocoli and caulliflower), and if you eat other food, have only fresh raw salad with homemade dressing (no commercial dressing).

Use LifeForce Energy and Immune Support twice a day, everyday, for the entire time while fighting the yeast problem. Start each day with about 20 oz. of distilled water with 1/2 of a fresh lemon squeezed into it. Take high potency Acidophilus with Bifidus capsules every morning and evening for one year. Do not use coffee enemas if you are succeptible to yeast overgrowth.

Instead, take a garlic and ginger retention enema once daily, 5 days per week, for 3 months. (Instructions: Add about 34 oz. distilled water to a stainless steel sauce pan. Add about six 1-inch sliced sections of fresh ginger root and six large peeled and smashed garlic cloves to the water. Bring mixture to a boil, then simmer for approximately 10 minutes.

Now, allow the broth to cool until just warm to the touch. Add strained mixture (only the liquid broth) to your enema bag. Hang enema bag about 2-3 feet above your body and lay on your right side with your knees bent (laying on the bathroom floor on a towel is very convenient). Lubricate the end of the insertion tube with a small amount of olive oil.

Carefully insert the tube into the anus about 5 inches. Do not force the tube. Now, control the flow of liquid into the colon using the clamping device on the tube. Infuse the mixture slowly until the enema bag is empty. (If you get a cramp, stop the flow and try to work through it. If the cramp is too intense, remove the insertion tube and expell the colon contents into the toilet.

In this case, reinsert the tube and resume the flow of liquid into the colon.) When the enema bag is empty, hold the liquid contents in your colon for 15 minutes, and then release it in the toilet. This may sound like an ordeal, however, once you get the hang of it you will discover that it’s a very simple procedure.)
Use lots of garlic in your diet as it is highly anti-fungal
Drink one gallon of distilled water every day.

Do not drink chlorinated tap water. Do not drink well water as it usually contains too much hardness (calcium chloride, etc.) contributing to an acidic pH.
Continue to build up your system nutritionally by taking LifeForce twice daily.
Take Quick Relief Super Tonic, 2 droppersful, 6 times daily (every 2 waking hours) (antiyeast)
Take 800-1000 mg Magnesium/Calcium supplement daily (essential for fighting yeast)
There is an excellent product called Candex by Pure Essence Labs that can assist the body in fighting yeast.
To rid the body of yeast overgrowth takes 2-6 months of dedication. Gradually you can reintroduce fruits and other naturally occurring sugars back into the diet. But remember, from here on out maintain a whole-food, natural diet that does not include any junk foods.
